Tamanu Oil

We like to call it Liquid Gold - Tamanu Oil boasts a long list of benefits, which is why it was an absolute must to include in our moisturizer. The oil is derived from the tamanu nut tree, and has been used medicinally for centuries in Asia. Tamanu Oil is super rich in fatty acids, giving it powerful moisturizing abilities. It can also promote wound healing, and reduce redness by stimulating collagen production and new cell growth. It’s a miracle worker at helping to rejuvenate damaged skin.

Canadian Willowherb

This plant has been used for centuries to soothe sensitive and irritated skin. It is an anti-redness powerhouse that enhances the skin’s barrier and improves skin’s immunity. It is known for being used for a range of skin problems, such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, burns and wounds. Because of its long history of providing skin benefits, it was scientifically studied for its anti-inflammatory response and was shown to outperform a 1% hydrocortisone cream in treating redness and irritation on the skin.

Defensil Plus

Defensil Plus is an innovative natural complex that soothes inflammation and regenerates the skin’s barrier. It consists of 3 components. 1. Black Current Seed Oil which contains linoleic acid and is crucial in barrier strengthening. 2. Balloon Vine Extract which is a tropical plant rich in phytosterols. Phytosterols can help reduce inflammation and allergic reactions and has shown to be an alternative to hydrocortisone. 3. Sunflower Oil Concentrate which is rich in essential fatty acids and helps calm irritated skin.
